Where Cross Clip still wins.
Cross Clip's core job is free, and free is hard to argue with. If your chat already clips your best moments live and you just need those clips vertical, it is fast, simple and made by the same company as the rest of your streaming stack. It is also genuinely handy for one-off conversions: a clip from someone else's stream (with permission), a trailer, anything already cut. For a streamer who goes live twice a month and posts one clip, it may be all you need.
The gap is everything upstream of the conversion. Most streams produce moments nobody clips live, because chat is small, asleep or just watching instead of typing.
